"Flaming" is a term coined by RGDS researchers to describe when the Royal Guard Dragons produce a white hot plume of flame from their mouths.
The longest duration of a flaming episode recorded to date has been 2 minutes and 47 seconds.
The longest plume of flame measured to date has been 3.6 meters.
The Royal Guard Dragons appear to have the ability to control the temperature of the plume.
Recorded temperatures have fallen in the range of 400 to 2000 degrees Centigrade, but the Royal Guard Dragons inform us that they have reduced their flaming maximum temperature so they will not destroy our instruments.
