This sculpture “Night Owl” is one of an open edition, each handcrafted from a carved master by the RGDS resident artist Nino Nardecchia.

The Royal Guard Dragon Night Owl is an energetic and curious hatchling. The Forest Fairies' named her Night Owl because she refused to take her naps. Night Owl believed sleeping was a waste of  good exploration time. Night Owl's mother, the Royal Guard Dragon Moon Beam, found the only way to keep Night Owl out of trouble was to sleep with one eye shut and one eye open so she could always keep track of her wandering hatchling.
