To date, little is known concerning the Royal Guard Dragons reproductive cycle.
What we do know comes from information derived from the Knarwood Manuscript and from what little information the Royal Guard Dragons are willing to share with us on this subject.
We do know the Royal Guard Dragons hatch from eggs.
Royal Guard Dragon eggs grow in size to accommodate the hatchling.
The Knarwood Manuscript tell us that in medieval times, when a new prince or princess was born, a Dragon Keeper Guild member would bring a Royal Guard Dragon egg and place it in the babys bassinet.
The tremendous warm energy generated by the newborn baby accelerated the Royal Guard Dragon's incubation period and within three days, the egg would hatch and a baby Royal Guard Dragon hatchling would emerge and immediately bond with the newborn infant guarding it for life.
