Royal Guard Dragons are warm blooded. Their normal body temperature runs between 90 degrees Fahrenheit when they are roosting and 250 degrees Fahrenheit immediately before and after flaming.
Royal Guard Dragons regulate their body temperature by increasing blood flow to their wings then flapping their wings to allow ambient air to dissipate the heat.
